I was sorting through one of my remote hard drives tonight looking for some old files from a story I was working on years ago (a rather big story, no less, that I never could get to or confirm … and now I can’t find the notes either, arrgh) and came across this front page of the Belmont Citizen-Herald from December 2009.
This design was conceptualized and written by me and designed by Ray Johnson, an amazing paginator at GateHouse Media. It tells a bit of history about the community while adding in Star Wars themes to the storytelling. This edition of the weekly newspaper – the one that comes out between Christmas and New Year’s Day – tends to be a throwaway. So, why not liven it up? May the Force be with you!
